If you are wanting to enjoy a more freestyle session, we’re more than happy to assist and we will discuss expectations with you prior to the recording session.

Recording

This is where the actual recording of the music takes place. We use top-of-the-line equipment and technology to capture the best possible sound, whether we’re recording vocals or instrument. Your audio engineer will work with you to ensure you deliver your best possible performance. Bring a beat or backing track and let the session begin!

Mixing

There are different levels of post-production available, which is completely dependent on how you want your final track to sound. We offer basic mixing in a session. This involves careful editing and adjusting levels, applying effects and EQ to ensure all the elements of the mix work together seamlessly. If more extensive mixing is required, we’re always ready to go the extra mile where your vision and budget find their happy place.

Mastering

The final step in the production process is mastering, applying the finishing touches to the overall sound of the record. This includes balancing levels, applying compression and limiting. We make sure that the final product sounds great on a variety of playback systems.

Advanced Editing with Melodyne

Melodyne is a powerful editing software. It allows us to manipulate the pitch, timing, and harmonies of individual notes within a recorded track. This innovative tool uses advanced algorithms to analyse the waveform of an audio file and allows for precise editing of individual notes. This can be a time-consuming process and if you’re wanting to take advantage of an auto-tune software option, then additional costs will apply so best to discuss with your assisting Magic Studios audio engineer.
